Determining if a glass door is installed successfully requires a systematic inspection of five aspects: frame precision, sealing, hardware functionality, glass safety, and overall appearance. The following are the specific acceptance standards and operating methods:
Frame Installation: Check Verticality and Fixing Firmness
Use a laser level or a regular spirit level to check the vertical and horizontal deviations of the door frame:
Permissible vertical deviation for the front and sides ≤2.5mm (within a 2-meter range);
Horizontal deviation of the horizontal frame ≤2mm;
The connection between the door frame and the wall should be tight and secure, with at least 4 expansion bolts on each side for firm fixing.
Sealing Inspection: Key to Wind and Water Resistance
Sealing Strips: Check that the sealing strips are intact, without curling, detachment, or breakage, and that they fit tightly against the glass and grooves.
Joint Gaps: The gap between the strip and the profile should be ≤1mm, which can be measured with calipers.
Dynamic Test: Move a candle or lighter along the door seam and observe if the flame flickers. If it flickers noticeably, there is an air leak.
Water Spray Test: Spray water on the outside side for at least 15 minutes and observe if there are any leaks inside.
